Listing most UK and Ireland sailing clubs, Find a Sailing Club is one of the most comprehensive sailing club directories on the internet.
A small side project extending out of Caution Water, Find a Sailing Club allows people to search for sailing clubs in their local vicinity, either by using a postcode locator, or by browsing the directory.
Various pieces of information are stored for sailing clubs, including in most circumstances address, a location map and contact details, a link to their website, membership costs and numbers, and if possible, boat classes sailed, which are linked to Caution Water for boat class information.
The purpose of the directory is to help market sailing clubs, but also to help people find a local club to sail at.
Find a Sailing Club is programmed in ASP.Net 2.0, with a SQL Server 2005 backend.
